A dedicated Physician Case Manager for a virtual second medical opinion consult and management of the following services below;

Your Physician Case Manager* will contact you by phone or email and guide you through every step of your medical journey, making sure you feel supported and informed.

Most second opinion services simply review your medical reports and provide an independent diagnosis and recommended treatment plan. After that, you are often left with questions and need to find a suitable doctor to carry out the treatment on your own.
The Personal Medical Advisor Service not only provides a second opinion but also assistance. In addition to providing expert / second medical opinion from global experts. Our team – led by your Physician Case Manager – supports you throughout your medical journey.

Enrolling is simple. You can:
We will ask for a few basic details — your full name, date of birth, and policy number — as shown in your PRUApex International Health plan. Your policy number can be found in your e-card in your secured MyHealthWallet web/member App.
Once your enrolment is complete and you are confirmed as eligible, a dedicated Physician Case Manager will be assigned to you and will contact you by phone or email to guide you through every step of your health journey.

To qualify for the service, the eligible member must have had previous medical consultations with at least one medical practitioner, with a prior diagnosis and in need of further guidance or opinions from other medical practitioners.
The tests, treatments, procedures, devices or medication recommended may or may not be covered by Policy with Prudential Assurance Company Singapore. Customers are advised to confirm the policy coverage with Prudential before undergoing any services.
The assessment of treatment is based on medical necessity. Generally, you will be referred to available treatment locally, but you may be recommended to obtain consultation or treatment abroad in rare instances where there is a lack of local expertise in relevant fields.
Please note that if you decide to proceed with the treatment plan as recommended by Teladoc Health, the cost of medical treatment may or may not be covered by Policy with Prudential Assurance Company Singapore. The scope of services would follow the area of coverage. For example, a customer who has a plan for “Asia” can only engage for services within that region.

It is natural that medical opinions from different doctors can vary. Teladoc Health provides an independent opinion to help you make an informed decision.
We encourage you to discuss the Teladoc Health report with your treating doctor. Teladoc Health does not directly treat patients or prescribe medication – the final decision is always yours, in consultation with your treating doctor.

Yes. If you agree to the referral, Prudential will assist in making an appointment with the doctor at the earliest convenience, and you will typically receive the appointment confirmation within 5 working days, on a best effort basis.
Appointment slots are subject to the doctor’s availability, and the recommendation is to make the appointment at least 7 days in advance.
